Beautifully Decorated With Interactive Gameplay – The Best Lego Set Yet?

Choosing just one great Lego set is something of a task thanks to the sheer volume of games and sets that they’ve released, but this one has been impressing collectors and lovers of interactive games since it was first released.  The level of detail that the designers have achieved is actually quite beautiful – which may sound a little ridiculous but it’s the truth!  The decals alone are so pretty, decorated with Oriental designs so you can add that touch of authenticity to the environment that your game takes place in.  The colour scheme (the rich reds, oranges and yellows) is also based on the colours of ancient Oriental cultures, adding to the experience of immersion into the world of the ninjas you play the part of, and echoes the fire theme throughout the game.

In fact, the Ninjago Fire Temple set has an astounding level of detail, right down to the figurines which come with the set, including some new versions and some classic versions.  The figurines are just as well built as the rest of the set, meaning there’s no need to be worried about damaging them, however heated the battle may become!

The Fire Dragon itself is probably the major draw of the set, as the Ice Dragon was in its series.  It appears to emerge from the temple itself thanks to a clever mechanism (built by you!) that allows it to split in half, spewing fireballs and making a crucial contribution to gameplay – it isn’t just a meaningless gimmick.

The gameplay itself is intended to stimulate your child’s brain and help him or her to enjoy learning and even bond with their parents.  It’s easy to see why this is such a popular set, making the perfect gift for any child.  Children below the ages of eight may not appreciate the complexity of the game, however.

Bond With Your Child And Make Learning Fun – For Everyone!

One of the most useful things to have emerged from the study of education and the methods with which children learn the most over the shortest amount of time is the discovery, which is rather obvious when you think about it, that children take the most information on board and learn how to think in new ways to a greater extent when they are having fun.  While we probably already knew this, it’s certainly great to be able to quote hard scientific facts when we adults are playing with – that is, building a new Lego set so that the children can get the game started!  It’s all about the children, of course…

Ideally, the best games can achieve this rather underhand but simple and effective result of teaching the players about certain skills which will no doubt benefit them both right now and also in later life.  The excellent Ninjago Fire Temple set is cleverly able to instil such abilities as lateral thinking, forward planning, teamwork, and of course the values of the importance of good triumphing over evil.

This is all very worthy stuff, and highly desirable for your child to learn, but can you imagine trying to teach them these things through any other medium except play?  It would be a fairly miserable experience for both you and the child, and in fact that is rather silly when it doesn’t have to be: why can’t both of you have fun and do a little bonding while your child is taking on board important lessons, such as paying attention to the details and complexities of the situation and their environment, and taking the time to think about the consequences of their actions?

Although players younger than eight may not get the full benefit, older players will love this creative set.

Beautifully Designed In Great Detail: Lego Delivers Again

This set is proving to be very appealing for a lot of reasons.  It’s an excellent game for families to enjoy playing together, but it’s also something that a lot of collectors have become quite excited about!  This set is actually something of a finale to the series that has been building up to it.  The series ties in with the DVD that was released to show that the ninjas can reach their full potential by collecting all of the golden artifacts that are a key feature in each set (in this one, it’s the Dragon Sword of Fire, which gives whoever holds it supreme power).

Some users have lamented the lack of a baseplate with this set, especially due to the elaborate nature of the moving pieces, but if you are careful then you won’t have any trouble.

It is a very intricate and engaging game, largely thanks to the beautiful detail that has been put into its creation: the Ninjago Fire Temple set definitely can never be said to be basic in any respect!  The temple itself comes with moving parts, which the player must assemble themselves.  The ingeniously designed mechanism is easy to put together but leads to spectacular results as the Fire Dragon bursts from the temple at a crucial point to spit fireballs!

The fire dragon, the main attraction, is subtly echoed in the colour scheme used, which is made up of intense reds, yellows and oranges.  The dragon motif is carried throughout the set, on both the décor of the temple and on the clothing of the beautifully crafted figurines of the characters – for example, Sensei Wu appears for the first time in a black costume with golden kanji on the front and a snaking golden dragon on the back.  Overall, an impressive set!

The Absorbing, Fascinating World Of The Fire Dragon

For those who want more from their games, this set provides hours of interactive fun, stimulates the imagination and intellect, encourages bonding between parents and children and, most importantly, is comprised of some seriously cool-looking components.

The classic story of good versus evil is explored in the exciting open gameplay, which lets the player take control and employ such methods as strategic thinking and methodical planning while not really being aware that they’re doing it because they’re having so much fun!

The immersion into the surprisingly authentic world of the game begins as soon as you open the box to start setting up, when you will discover all of the necessary pieces to build the beautifully detailed and decorated temple. The wonderful embellishments, such as the stickers which the player attaches to the screens, the cherry blossom trees and the sword rack in the dojo, make the Ninjago Fire Temple set one of the most absorbing games Lego has made, even before the gameplay has commenced!

It truly comes alive thanks to the durable and excellent-as-always figurines, including incarnations of the good guys (the hero Sensei Wu, Kai, Zane and the Spinjitzu Mater) and the bad guys (Kruncha, Samukai and Lord Garmadon), who battle over the acquisition of the Dragon Sword of Fire, which gives whoever holds it power over all of the Ninjago world. There is also an extensive cache of weapons such as the gold, silver and black swords, as well as daggers and axes amongst others.

The Fire Dragon is the most impressive feature of the set, particularly when the temple splits apart and the dragon bursts forth to spit fireballs!

The game may not be suitable for players younger than eight, as it is rather sophisticated. But players from eight years and up are in for endless hours of fun with this amazing set.

An Immersive World For Players Of All Ages

This play set may well be the best game that Lego has ever released.  It offers a mixture of classic and new figurines, allows the player to build the scenario in which the game is set (making the game a more immersive experience) so it’s truly interactive, and engages the player at a strategic intellectual level, encouraging new ways of thinking as a way to progress through the game.

The game starts with you constructing the temple, which houses the Fire Dragon.  The temple itself has beautiful details in order to increase its authenticity, such as stickers with artistic symbols and even a cherry blossom tree!  The Fire Dragon, possibly the biggest attraction of this game, appears to burst forth from the temple and spit fireballs at a key moment in the plot of the game.

The Ninjago Fire Temple is a great way for families to bond, thanks to the stimulating nature of the gameplay: characters are able to increase and expand upon their initial abilities to move the plot along, helping your child to think in a linear manner and understand consequences and the necessity of qualities such as forethought and forward planning.

This classic story of good versus evil is every bit as attractive to adults as it is to children, and the motivation to continue the story to completion includes, in addition to the Fire Dragon, the many weapons to be acquired, included in the game in the form of highly durable figurines, so there’s no need to worry about them sustaining damage.

Although those who own a lot of Lego sets may end up with some duplicated pieces, there are enough new elements to keep even the most ardent of collectors happy.  This set excels itself in quality both in terms of gameplay and presentation.

Your imagination is the only limit with this amazing Lego set

Choosing an educational toy which will stimulate the mind and encourage learning whilst also being enjoyable to play with for both children and adults is not always easy, but Lego have made the choice pretty obvious with this highly detailed and interactive set, which includes a mixture of classic characters and new storylines.  The gameplay is impressively open-ended, designed so that the player can explore a number of scenarios rather than be forced to stick to a linear storyline, which does little to stimulate the imagination or the intellect, for that matter.

Every aspect of this set is designed to make the experience of building it and playing it thoroughly enjoyable, and the attention to detail which has been paid to even the smallest bit of the décor will guarantee that you are drawn into the setting of the gameplay.  The Ninjago Fire Temple set opens up an exciting and intricate world in which the player can set up the journey of the characters however they want, with the ultimate goal of defeating the chief bad guy Lord Garmadon and his evil Skeleton Army.

The figurines, as is standard with Lego, are of a high quality and you will never need to worry about damaging them thanks to how durable and sturdy they are built to be.

Some Lego collectors have noted the repetition of certain figurines within the set, so if you’re buying this with an eye to expanding your collection you may wish to check out your existing sets if the Fire Dragon is not enough of a draw for you, but this is unlikely to bother anyone buying the set to be used as a game they can play with their children to help them learn while playing.

Still, collectors and parents alike have been impressed by this wonderful and detailed set.

Fun with Lego – a mix of the classic and the new

Lego can always be relied upon to come up with innovative and exciting new toy sets for the old and the young alike to enjoy.  This particular set is highly detailed and deeply impressive in its sheer scope, in terms of game-play, design and build.

An element that has been especially admired in this set from the line is the attention to detail of the décor and the environenment: for example, there is a Lego depiction of a Sakura, or a cherry blossom tree, in bloom, which stands next to a rack for three different coloured swords resting in a rack.  The printed parts are also beautifully made: the parts representing the screens of the temple have the Japanese kanji for “Dragon God” which go on the upper level, and stylized pictures of a golden dragon for the lower level.

The Lego Ninjago Fire Temple set impresses in many ways, and makes an excellent addition to the line, with the Fire Dragon being the chief attraction.  It is intricately designed and a lot of fun to build, fitting snugly into the temple (also of elaborate design and enjoyable to build) before bursting out and spitting fireballs!

The device which allows the temple to split open to reveal the dragon is ingenius, and once it is uncovered, the interior itself is well designed and attractive, conforming with the overall authentic colour scheme.

The figurines are durable and sturdy, so there’s no need to be concerned about them incurring any damage.  Although it isn’t delicate, the temple can come apart in places if you don’t use the green pieces on the sides of the temple to push it back together once open.

Overall, this is an excellent toy set that will provide hours and hours of fun!

A great toy set from Lego

While there are many toy sets available on the market, there is little else that children still enjoy as much as the innovation and creation of Lego.  One of the most appealing attractions – for both adults and children alike! – is the ability the player has to manipulate the physical aspects of both the world and the pieces of the game.

When your child knows that they have complete control over the world that the gameplay is set in it makes it that much more enjoyable when it comes to progressing with the game – their satisfaction at their accomplishment is something that will stay with them throughout the story and plot of the game.

The extremely durable figures and pieces that come with the game are up to the usual high standard of the Lego sets, with some classic characters that you may recognize: the Ninjago Fire Temple includes representatives from the good side of the war and the bad side, such as the hero Sensei Wu and his fellow fighters Kai and Zane, along with the principal bad guy the evil Lord Garmadon and his cohorts Kruncha and Samukai.

The most impressive figure included is the fully poseable Fire Dragon which comes complete with the ability to spit fireballs!  The temple, which is also built by the player, will split open to reveal the dragon at key points in the plot of the game.

The gameplay, although not overly complicated, may not be suitable for children younger than eight years of age, as it is important that the player has the capacity to appreciate that the linear nature of the plot does require an understanding of strategy and the ability to plan in order to progress.  This set will educate and excite in equal measures!

An enjoyable educational experience with Lego

If you know a child who likes a truly interactive experience which is also challenging, this Lego set is ideal.  Having to build the world in which the game is set means that the player becomes more thoroughly involved and absorbed than they can with most conventional games, making it more stimulating – you may even have difficulty getting them to stop playing!

A game which encourages children to think for themselves and employ such skills as lateral thinking and strategic planning is educationally invaluable … and the best thing is that they won’t have a clue that they’re learning because they’ll be far too busy having fun!  Thanks to the open-ended nature of the gameplay, they can take advantage of the opportunity to develop their imagination and let it run riot.

The Ninjago Fire Temple set comes complete with high quality classic figurines, which represent characters from both sides of the warring factions.  There are also durable models of a wide range of weapons to keep players interested, including the ‘Dragon Sword of Fire’ which the player must stop Lord Garmadon’s evil skeleton army from obtaining.  Then of course there is the Fire Dragon itself, which is fully poseable and created with the ability to spit fireballs.  The figurines can be moved around the temple – once it has been built, of course! – so that the player is in full control of the story at all times.

The only problem is that you’ll need to make sure that you set aside enough time for the game to be played as the most benefits are gained from it when the player has the opportunity to fully immerse him or herself into the world of the game.  The player is bound to have hours of fun while improving vital skills, making this the ideal educational game.

Learn while playing with the best toy set around

There are many toys available these days for children to play with, but there are few which are as well designed as this particular Lego set: it is much like an open-ended action video game, with the story developing in such a way as to stimulate the player’s imagination and help them learn how to think logically thanks to the strategy-based gameplay.

The story is driven forward in the classic fight of good versus evil as the player decides what move they want to make next, and a lot of thought must go into it – not that the player will notice, because they’ll be having too much fun!

The age range which the set is intended for is between eight and fourteen years old, as the game does require a level of forethought and the anticipation of consequences not present in infants.

The Ninjago Fire Temple Lego set is one of the most interactive games around: the player gets to build the temple in which the game is set themselves – how often do you get to construct the actual world in which you’re about to immerse yourself? The sturdy, durable figures (all the main characters are included) can then be moved around the temple according to the game’s progression. The range of weapons to be used is impressive, and the Fire Dragon itself, which appears to spit fireballs, is enough to excite the imagination of any child. There is no need to worry about any of the pieces in the set getting damaged as they are all hard-wearing and well-made.

If you’re looking for a set that will help your child to develop his or her strategic thinking and expand their ability to create whole new worlds in their imagination, then this is the perfect set for you.
